Christmas greetings from Minnesotastan.
I thought it would be nice this holiday season to create a post in which regular visitors to this blog can send greetings to one another. Many of you have been coming here regularly for almost two years now, and some of the names in the comments section are becoming quite familiar.
So, let's try this. In the comment section to this post, give me a link to a photo that you have in your blog, or in your Flickr photostream or in some other online storage site. Don't email me the photo - just give the link and I'll go there and copy the photo and then I'll add it to this post. The picture can be of you, or your family, or your computer, or your cat, or whatever - it doesn't matter.
With the link write a brief (10 words max) greeting if you want, directed to the other readers and visitors (not a comment on TYWKIWDBI). Sign with the name you use in commenting, or in blogging, or your real name if you wish. I reserve autocratic right to edit comments and trim pictures if they are too big, and to limit the number if there are too many, because I've already used up almost half of the free photo storage bandwidth that comes with this blog.
I have absolutely no idea how this will work out. I'll start off with a picture of me with Santa taken in the early 1950s, probably at the Dayton's store in downtown Minneapolis.
Your turn.
