Newsreel-type footage typical of the French Pathe productions of that era. No plot or excitement - just a wonderful documentation of what life was like for those people at that time. (I might add that 20 years after this was filmed my family were using these same "one-horsepower" sleighs to get from their farm to church or town during the winters in southern Minnesota).
