Here's what Jessica said about her tutorial: It's spring in Chicago, which means wet things no longer freeze outside and the sun actually shines. So I tried another project with Inkodye, the photosensitive dye tested in a few projects last year. I'd received samples from the manufacturer to play with, and I've been curious about using paper doilies as stencils.

Here's what Jennifer had to say about her tutorial:   When you are just starting out with a dollhouse, it is hard to buy or make everything you need right away.

A good solution for very inexpensive and easy to make window curtains is to create them from paper. They are very easy to make, and look quite effective in a dollhouse.

Here's what Jennifer had to say about her tutorial:   A trestle table is a timeless piece of furniture. It looks correct in a Medieval castle setting, an American colonial house or a contemporary dollhouse. A trestle table was one of the first pieces of furniture I made for my dollhouse. I had little access to dollhouse shops back in the 1980's BI [Before Internet] , hence I made a lot of my own furniture. I didn't think I could make decent chairs so a trestle table with benches was a good alternative. A trestle table is much more simple to construct than a table with four legs.
