Here's what Ros had to say about her tutorial: Yes, you read it right, this is the knicker bag tutorial and is I think the very first bag I ever made way back in the early 70s when the craze for them hit the Convent. It was such a great bag for carrying books and files to school, although I never quite managed to get the Peak Freens biscuit tin in there for Domestic Science!

As you can imagine the design is based on an outsize pair of knickers, with the gusset becoming the handle and the waist being sewn across to create the base of the bag... now before you think I have lost the plot I can tell you that no lingerie will be harmed in the making of this bag, so let's get started.

Ros's Bio:I live by the sea, in Essex, in Leigh-on-sea. I have been making things since I was a child, earliest memories were embroidering squares of binca matting, making felt egg cups and ripping back my knitting when my sister had picked up a dropped stitch... yep, it really did have to be all my own work! I am a dreadful hoarder, with stashes of wool and fabric hidden around my house, together with the projects that I have not yet finished. I am currently making cushions, quilted, appliqued, stencilled... actually just anything that I will enjoy crafting.

Here's what Ros had to say about her tutorial: I have found lots of hats for little girls but hats for little boys are few and far between, so using the classic beanie design which uses multiples of eight stitches and knits in the round, I came up with a little number in cotton, which is both soft, structured and textured. They are such a quick knit I have made four for my first Spring Craft Show on Saturday, fingers crossed that they sell well!

Here's what Ros had to say about her tutorial: This light scarf is made from Anna Maria Horner's 'Little Folks' voile. To achieve a similar look, you will need very sheer, soft fabric. I have used a print on one side of the scarf, and a plain white voile on the other side.

Have you ever had your kid come in crying because they have snow down their sleeves? I definitely have, and since my oldest son C was about 3 years old, I’ve just added a longer section onto gloves he had from the store. That way snow stays off their arms, and their arms have an extra layer for warmth!

Then I realized how easy it would be to just make the mitten portion as well. I’ve actually had this idea on my list since I started my blog in January! So after nearly a year, I finally got around to it!

Her artwork has been featured in publications such as Cloth Paper Scissors, Quilting Arts, Where Women Create, Somerset Studios’ Haute Handbags, Art Doll Quarterly, and the University of San Diego Magazine. Here's what Jessica had to say about her tutorial: Inspired by the frozen boulders the city snowplow piled up along our street, I made a scarf.

To make this, you'll need: fabric, freezer paper, scissors, iron, pencil, craft knife, cutting mat, fabric paint, and a foam brush. I used a length of jersey from the fabric store—you know, T-shirt material. Soft and comfy, and doesn't fray around the edges.

Here's what Andrea had to say about her pattern: ....well it is for me! Our little knitting group at school have always said that they would like to make a knitted hat. Eventually we managed to narrow it done to a sort of cloche shape that may or may not have a flower or some kind of embellishment on it. So, my colleague and I set to work looking for one and of course we would need to test it out first.

Now I'm just squeezing in some simple instructions (no pictures....sorry!) just in time. It's VERY easy, I promise, so if you need a little something for your sweetie to wear on heart day, you should be able to do it in an evening.
