Attached is a photo I shot this morning outside our back door. We're used to seeing these ice "volcanoes" on shore when the wind and waves coincide and actually squirt water up and out through a small opening. The water then freezes on top and the "ice volcano" grows.Via Paul Douglas' outstanding On Weather blog.
